HRM Photography (♥) (www.hrmphotography.com) (read review) captured the incredible design and style of Ashley and Sean Galloway's urban London wedding. With the ceremony at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica and then reception at The Old Court House in London, the entire day was spent downtown. "Sean is an urban designer so we wanted to incorporate the downtown on our wedding day," explains Ashley. The downtown setting also kept photo shoots casual and fun in contrast to the tradition-steeped cathedral ceremony.  

Ashley explained, "Since our wedding was in the Spring [May 29th 2010] we wanted the colours to be vibrant and fresh." And so they kept things fresh and fun when it came to design. A multitude of greens and whites made up the colour palette and could be found in just about every design details from beginning to end. Flowers used were hydrangeas and tulips with leafy greens and assortments of white and green flowers in bouquets and centrepieces. Groupings of glassware, water and candle light topped the tables. Fresh cut limes accented vases. 

Throughout the vintage court house reception, table names were made to look like street signs of the couple's favourite cities for a fun urban element. The cake was white with green fondant ribbons and shapes. And just for fun, the cake topper featured the bride, groom and their dog - all of which were hand painted by Ashley's aunt! ♥
