Wedding Saviours has gathered a Team of community minded businesses in KW that are ready to pay-it-forward with a sensational FREE WEDDING in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. They are now actively searching for local couples in the Kitchener-Waterloo area that had to put their wedding dreams on hold due a hardship (unemployment, accident, etc). Couples applying for the fabulous FREE WEDDING are asked to find their own way to pay-it-forward in the community too. As the result of each contest we will benefit from food flowing into local food-banks, extensive volunteering and inspiring acts of goodwill. Applicants make a video, take some photos and/or write about their deed well done to share online for voting. It's fun, it's inspirational and the entire community wins while helping to determine the winning couple!

JANE DAYUS-HINCH, host of the tv reality show Weddings SOS has stepped in to personally endorse Wedding Saviours and lend a hand. This fairy Godmother to weddings has waved her magic wand and Teams are beginning to gather in Kawartha Region, Durham, Simcoe, Sudbury, Halton/Peel, Toronto and even Red Deer Alberta!

Wedding Saviours truly puts the "Social" into the term "social networking". Your KW Team of socially aware wedding professionals and business partners are working together through facebook, twitter and Youtube to find the KW couple by "sharing" the contest video. With the support of The Wedding Ring we hope to reach many more couples... which means MANY more good deeds; now THAT'S exciting!

Applications are currently being accepted and the wedding will take place in December 2012.

Contest calendar...

Currently l Search for the next deserving KW Couple (couple had to cancel or postpone their wedding as the result of a hardship – financial or emotional).

July 17 - September | Online voting begins on the top 25 videos selected by a panel of judges. Voting will be open to the public and will determine the top 10 couples.

September | Final 3 couples are given a community "Challenge for Charity". They will collect food for the food-bank, blog about a new volunteer experience, and the community will vote one last time to help determine the winners.

September | Winning couple is announced
