Kitchener's newest retailer debuts at the Bell Celebrity Gala while $1.16 Million is raised for mental health

Kitchener, Ontario - October 15, 2010 - ENVIE Intimates, Kitchener's up-and-coming intimate apparel and luxuries retailer, had the honour of taking part in last night's fashion show at the Bell Celebrity Gala. Bell, alongside corporate sponsors, raised $1.16 Million for the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), a leading organization for mental health care, research and education.

Celebrities, sponsors, donors and supporters gathered at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre where they were treated to an amazing event filled with entertainment and fashion, all in support to enhance access and awareness of mental health.

Opening in Kitchener at the start of November, ENVIE Intimates gave guests the first look at their private label collection at the Gala's fashion show segment. "What better way to introduce our new retail company than at the Bell Celebrity Gala? Our public relations team had a great time meeting supporters of this wonderful cause while raising money for CAMH," says ENVIE Intimates' Creative Director, Cindy Cipriano. "We could not ask for a better representation of our designs and we hope that everyone at the Gala who saw it are just as excited for ENVIE as we are," adds Cipriano.

Mental illness is one of the most devastating issues in Canada and is the nation's #1 cause of disability. The Bell Gala's five year commitment to CAMH and their "Let's Talk" campaign will increase awareness and correct the negative stigma associated with mental illness. As one of the most disproportionately funded health issue, Bell's initiative, alongside corporate sponsors, will raise money to ensure that Canadians have access to receive the mental health care they require.

ENVIE Intimates was very pleased to be a part of the Gala's entertainment for all of the generous supporters of CAMH. The retailer will be opening their first location at Sportsworld Crossing in Kitchener.
