Knollwoods Hitching PostMany couples dream of an outdoor wedding, but the search for one can take quite alot of footwork.

That's why staff at The Ring spoke with Hamlton wedding officiant, Mandi Neiser, to get her take on some of her favourite outdoor wedding ceremony locations in the area.

Here's what we found...

The Ring has a review on Urban Bride, which isn't in K-W, but Cambridge (which is still close). Simona, the Owner, says she sells dyable shoes and can take care of dying them for you, too. I'm not sure if this means she dyes them in store or has a place where she can send them to get dyed, but it's worth looking into. Here's the review for more info and her contact info: Urban Bride review (http://www.theweddingring.ca/reviews-in-the-ring/urban-bride) So far this is the only option we've found aside from The Shoe Doctor in Fairview Mall. You may also check out Latinos in Cambridge as we heard from a wedding planner that they might do it as well. Good luck!

I didn't love the Walper when we went to look at it.. Just walking up the staircase and seeing all the paint chipped off the walls & doors.. then in the upstairs "lobby" with the bar.. there were really faded pictures (of children?) hanging on the walls. And the ballroom was so narrow. I also didn't love that parking is not that close (especially for grandparents) and guest would have to pay for it. I was also not a fan that the bar was so far from the dance floor. I am really glad that you have heard good things from people that have had weddings there already. Maybe I am too picky. . We are having ours at 3 Bridges in St. Jacob's. I love the big windows and country setting :)
