The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory  offers the option of a garden ceremony area without the stress of potential inclement weather. Tropical gardens create a beautiful backdrop, year round.
The venue’s Wedding & Event Coordinator, Cayla Vanhouwelingen, works with each of the venue’s couples to help create the ultimate wedding day.

A wedding at the conservatory is an all-in-one location for your romantic wedding with a your I-Do’s under the waterfall, photos in the tropical gardens, and reception in the artistic Butterfly Gallery.

In this design palette, Tanya Wormsley, of AWE Events takes risks with colours, blending  ivory and cream colours together, going against conventional colour palettes for a soft elegant reception space. Tanya says that when it comes to décor trends, “Unique is a word we hear often from our clients. Couples more than ever are putting their own spin on the big day to make it reflect who they are. We’re starting to see a lot more mixed metals incorporated into design palettes, which we love! Delicate laces are still hot, giving weddings a traditional feel. Mixed neutrals, herbs and wild flowers are great options as well!”

Brandy from La Petite Fleur uses soft, nectar-rich flowers like Scabiosa, Chamomile and Alstroemeria in her bouquets, chosen both for their ability to attract butterflies and for their understated beauty. The reception space features a breathtaking mix of intricate blush dahlias, paired with imaginative florals and bursts of fresh greenery.

Devon Crowell of Devoncphotography is a preferred photographer of Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, as well as a number of other area venues. In this photo shoot, Devon collaborated with area experts, successfully capturing the many gorgeous details – butterflies, tropical foliage, gardens, fields of Russian sage – that can only be found at this incredible venue.
