Wedding #1 July 11, 2009: High-style in Niagara Falls

When I awoke that morning to sideways rain and fear of a tornado, the weather didn't look promising; but, aside from a bit of humidity, Brian and Laura couldn't have asked for better weather.

I know these two through Tony as he works with Brian. Aside from that one episode of Rich Bride, Poor Bride, I've never seen a groom so into the wedding planning. He took care of pretty much all of the details, and was happy and excited to do so.

Wedding #2 July 18, 2009: Focused on fun

The first wedding I was in since I was a flower girl in grade 2, I was extremely excited (and humbled) when my high school friend, Kathryn, asked me to be her Maid of Honour. Tony was privileged enough to make the wedding party cut, too.

The day started pretty early, but my fatigue was soon forgotten by the luxury of the limo that drove us literally everywhere. He picked me up at 8:15 am and took all of the girls for our up-dos and mimosas.

Wedding #3 August 15, 2009: All You Need Is Love

The second wedding I was lucky enough to be a part of this summer took place in Pasadena California (a suburb of Los Angeles) between my elementary school friend, Kathryn (who we call Kat due to the amount of friends in our group with the same name and spelling) and her American fiancé, Justin.

Tony and I spent six days in sunny Cali helping Kat prepare for the big day. I got to celebrate at an orange themed shower thrown by the groom's sisters in Orange County, a tame bachelorette party with a tea party spa pampering. Myself, the other bridesmaids, family and friends also helped create bouquets, centrepieces, favours and decorate the ballroom.
