Bride Raves for The Ring: Spring 2011
"We have managed to stay relatively local for all of our vendors. We have chosen Taste Fine Foods as our caterers (found them on your website), we have decided to go with Sticks and Stems for flowers (also from your web site)... I also found my wedding dress at She's So Beautiful also discovered on your website!! Not only is everyone realtively local, they all use resources form Ontario including food, flowers..." - Lindsay, May 30 2011
"This site is so fantasic for finding venues and inspiration. Thank you so much!" - Maria H, May 24 2011
"Thanks for all of your hard work putting this site together I am sure others appreciate this, well through through, easy to navigate and gives you support when you did not know it could exist through wedding site... [I like that] it is locally driven." - Jessica, May 13 2011
"Great website, very useful - especially for a bride like me planning a wedding in Toronto but living in Calgary!" - Josie, May 2 2011
"I've relied on and trusted The Ring for EVERY vendor we've hired for the wedding so far: our florist (Pam at Flourish), our photographer (Anne Edgar), our venue (Cambridge Mill). The reviews are so informative and in-depth... it's as if all the investigative work has been done for me! I've already (and will continue to) recommend The Ring to every new bride I meet!! I'm a fan guys!! Keep up the great work!!" - Lisa, May 01 2011

The Wedding Ring magazine (literally) on shelves today!
The Wedding Ring magazine hits the shelves today - and we mean that literally. Chapters stores (as well as a few independant book stores) from Windsor to Toronto and Hamilton to Guelph have stocked their shelves with the Spring/Summer 2010 issue of The Wedding Ring magazine.
To say this is exciting for the team at The Wedding Ring - as well as the brides and featured experts in this particular issue - would be a bit of an understatement... Read more...
Business Opportunity: Bring The Ring to brides in your area
The summer of 2011 has been fast-paced and rewarding. As a company, Wedding Ring inc. marked it's eight year catering to an industry that is recession-proof, fashion-savvy and built on love stories. The Ring also sent it's 9th magazine to print and topped 10,000 subscribers in an Ontario-only email mailing list. But probably one of the biggest developments was the welcoming of The Ring's first Exclusive Distributor, Laura Kalcsa, to the company as she takes The Ring to the gorgeous west coast of Canada in Fall 2011.
The Ring is very much a personal, one-on-one, client-based business. We do the research in person. We attend bridal shows in person. We have our feet on the ground, so to speak, at all times. Opening the doors to distributor opportunities and inquiries is an exciting step that allows us to keep our feet planted firmly in the communities within which we grew as a business, while also expanding to reach brides and wedding experts in communities far across Canada, where we wouldn't ordinarily be able to reach.
Becoming an Exclusive Distributor
As an Exclusive Distributor in your own territory of The Wedding Ring, you are essentially walking into a wedding industry media business overnight. Your business will be built on systems that work for both your bottom line, your sense of job satisfaction, your advertisers, and most importantly, your brides. It's a wedding magazine, website, community and research project that makes a difference in the lives and planning of brides, in the palm of your hands.
You will cater content, research and resources to local brides in your city, with your own magazine and regional edition of TheWeddingRing.ca website. You'll learn everything there is to know about the industry, attend bridal shows, turn high end vendors into your clients and partners, reach out to and service brides, distribute magazines, write articles, and ultimately becomes the premier source of information for brides in your community - online, offline and in print.
These new opportunities are about sharing our adventure, reaching more brides, creating partnerships, and ultimtely (and most importantly) changing the way local brides plan weddings - one wedding community at a time...
Submitting your wedding story to The Wedding Ring magazine, website and community
Recently, we were asked by brides in the chat boards if and how they can submit their wedding stories to the The Ring's magazine or website. The answer, of course, was a resounding yes! [Story shown at left was of Jessalyn & Robert's destination wedding, photographed by Captured Soul]
We LOVE receiving story submissions from local brides! :) Here's how to submit yours...More Articles...
