Reality Wedding Update: Wedding Diary

Feeling great about the wedding plans. We just finished assembling our wedding invitations (they look great!) and getting ready for our stag & doe at the end of June.

Had a great little get together this month with my bridal party to discuss plans for our stag & doe. They are such a great bunch, coming prepared with notes and ideas, and most importantly, excitement for a great party! The hall and band have been booked and tickets printed... all that's left is waiting for the PARTY, which will be June 27th 2009 at the Hespeler Arena.

I went for my wedding dress fitting and had photos of my dress taken. The dress fits so perfectly it only needs a small hem at the bottom. (Yeah...'cause I heard that alterations can cost a fortune!).

I also brought the photos to my cake decorator Klara, who is so excited to try to turn a plain 7 layer white cake into an elegant version of my wedding dress!

Still having great difficulty finding someone who will rent 200 gold charger plates for our wedding day. Since we are having our reception at Whistle Bear Golf Club and they are decorating, we do not have a separate decorator. Apparently no one in the city has more than about 50 to rent... this has taken up so much time, and I still haven't found anything :(
