I did invite my monster-in-law dress shopping with my mother and I. I can say that it didn't turn out as terribly and I thought it would. On a positive note, she did enjoy some of the dresses I tried on and she wasn't her usual evil self. I do have a feeling she was putting on a show in front of my mom. Has anyone else had this problem? She is just being nice to me in front of my mom and then pulling a 180 and continues to be indifferent towards me. What should I so? I can never tell this to my fiance.

Is your fiance an only child?
Perhaps she is trying to come around! but this is all becoming real that her son is actually getting married and moving on and doesn't need her anymore?
I wouldn't stress too much about it unless something big happens!
Enjoy this time! planning your wedding is supposed to be fun! don't let the little stuff get in the way!
