Some topics are hotter than others. A recent bachelor party debate pretty much shook our servers with the heat. Here's some popular topics where you can state your opinion.

The Brides' Ball Online Auction 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
The Brides' Ball Online Auction opened last week and The Wedding Ring has received some fabulous items that are easy to love, donated by local vendors. New items are still coming in.

Last year's auction kept the team at The Ring hopping just trying to keep totals updated. In fact, we received over $4000 in winning bids by the time the auction was called. So let's make this year even better! Let the bidding begin!

We know it gets pretty hot in the bidding area close to the end of the auction, but don't wait until the last minute to get an edge on the competition.

Hey Jenn we would like to donate something for the brides ball but I'm not quite sure how to go about doing that. If you could get back to me that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Only 9 days left in The Brides' Ball Online Auction and some items are still at ridiculously GREAT prices - both wedding and non-wedding related, including some great gifts for that hard to buy person on your list.

You only have until December 11, 2009 to get great prizes, while helping to support the local breast cancer centre at Grand River Hospital.

So far we've raised $1,179 from the auction, but that pales in comparison to the $4000 we raised last year, so visit www.thebridesball.com/dbsite/2009-online-auction.html for some last minute bidding wars.

Some great items still at low prices are...
-Seating Chart & Discount from Big Orange Designs - $75+ Value - highest bid so far is $22.
-$1000 Decorating Package by Do It In Style - highest bid so far is $175.
-Trash The Dress Portrait Package from Captured Soul Photography - worth $500 - highest bid so far is only $120.
-Framed Inscribable Signature Keepsake Mat Kit - $147.99 Value - highest bid is only $33.
-Gourmet Goodie Basket donated by Nicole Pohl at Remax valued at $150 - highest bid is $47

And that's not everything. Help us support breast cancer and place your bids!

The bids are in and the auction is closed...

On Friday evening in The Brides' Ball Online Auction there was an exciting last minute bidding war as the final bids were placed before the auction ended at midnight.* We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone – local vendors and all of the bidders – for their generous donations, support and bids towards the Waterloo-Wellington Breast Centre (WWBC) at Grand River Hospital. We're happy to announce that the final bids raised a total of $1553.50!

Check out the Brides' Ball site, or The Ring blog to find out who bid the highest and how to pick up the prizes: www.theweddingring.ca/staff-blogs/the-bi...e-auction-is-closed.

Thanks to everyone who contributed and bid on the items!
