We are trying to figure some things for our Stag & Doe

Where did you have it?

How far ahead did you book it?

How much was it?

Did you bring your own alocohol (or profit sharing)?

What kind of games did you play?

How much approximately did you make in the end?

We had our beginning of May, booked it a few months in advance the hall is busy for buck n doe season.... Seaforth

We bought our own booze on our own liquor lisence and profited about $4500

There was another buck n doe the same night with mutual friends people went back and forth between ours and theres LOL but it worked out just fine. Our wedding party ran the games and sold the tickets while we hired the hall staff to serve the booze.

I was the DD cause we found out that we were expecting a couple weeks before the party LOL but it was still a blast

We did a 50/50, raffle tickets on sweet prizes, a toonie toss and crown and anchor

Depending on how you feel about time...they are generally 1-2 months before the actual wedding date.
Any Stag and Doe I've been to there has been a cash bar (except one where they rented part of Molly Blooms in Kitchener)
Games usually played (where I've been anyway):
- Raffle table
- Dart Poker
- Guess the number of ____
- Toonie drop (fish tank full of water, 3 shot glasses in the tank. Drop a toonie in the tank, get it in the shot glass, get a drink...or raffle ticket..or something)
- Pie in the face (Bride and Groom run around with cans and get money from guests, whoever has the least amount of money in the jar gets a pie...sometimes it's the groom no matter what...sometimes it's both no matter what)
- One I went to the Bride and Groom had a silent auction on canned food and different random things. When the auction was over the bride and groom were covered in garbage bags and wore goggles, sat in ugly chairs and garbage bagged the floor and the person who won the silent auction on the, lets say, honey got to pour it over the bride and grooms head...haha...it was hilarious..because one person does honey and the next can do coffee grounds and decorate with designs and stuff by sticking the grounds to the honey...haha...if you don't mind getting dirty, it's fun!
- Toonie Toss...everyone tosses toonies at a Texas Mickey of alcohol and the closest person WITHOUT hitting the bottle, wins it. LOTS of money is spent on this game...because even if someone spends $50 and wins, they are still getting a huge deal..haha...and who doesn't love almost free alcohol?

Just remember that if you have any alcohol as part of the prizes, you can't have them out (unless for the toonie toss it comes out, is won and then is put away). A picture of the bottle is fine, but all alcohol has to stay behind the bar until purchased...or if the person who won is leaving.

Also...it's your wedding party who does the stag and doe...they take their money back that they spend and the bride and groom take the profits after that...some couples help pay or pay for all so their wedding party doesn't have to worry about it.

Sorry for the long post...just love Buck and Does....lol
