We are having an outdoor ceremony, location still yet to be decided. Options are the beach or a park. What have other people done for music and also the vows. I'm worried that people aren't going to be able to hear us. I have been to a wedding where you couldn't here anything and it was really annoying. And I don't want that to happen to us.
We have thought about having someone play an instrument but we can't afford to pay someone a whole lot to do it.So someone give me a budget worthy option PLEASE!!
We could have had my friend play bagpipes but FH won't let me have them!! His excuse is we aren't Irish...Well I am part Irish but he doesn't care! They are NOT an option. I'm sure you can tell I'm a little annoyed about this!! But I am willing to get over it if we can find something else

Hi Jude,
I agree that it sucks when guests can't hear what's going on during a ceremony. I've seen officiants using a battery powered mic and amp in locations next to rivers etc. It worked quite well.
As far as music, wind instruments such as flute or trumpet will project better than string instruments when there's no amplification.
