Mt fiance and i have been together for 5 years and have 2 daughters already, so we don't want to spend alot of money. We have a total of 35 guests...Please help!!!!

Hi Marleny,

I'm not sure what your budget is or what you consider to be a "low low cost", or when your wedding is planned for (which would depend on an indoor vs. outdoor location), but you should try checking out some of The Ring's reviews on K-W ceremony and reception locations. I would recommend selecting Ceremony Locations as the category, and then Kitchener-Waterloo as the city from the drop down menus at the top of the page. Most of the ceremony locations we review are also reception venues, and there are quite a few that would be perfect to host your smaller affair - particularly hotels as they have a large variety of rooms that can host anywhere from 20-200 guests and have onsite ceremony locations.

There's also always the option to have your ceremony in a place like City Hall (the Kitchener City Hall has a really nice chapel in it and the officiant is so awesome!) and then rent out a restaurant, or portion of a restaurant, for your small reception. The Charcoal Group of Restaurants has private rooms in most of their 5 restaurants that would be perfect for 35 people and only require you/your guests to spend a minimum amount in order to get the room for free. Plus, their food is amazing! They're reviewed under reception locations if you want to know more. Or, give me some more details about your wedding and I can help narrow down your search if you'd like.

Hope this helps. Happy planning!

A friend got married last year at Charcoal Steak House. They had about 30 ppl. There was a private room made available to them. You know the food would be excellent

We're only having about 50 people for ours and are having both the ceremony and reception at the Walper. We have heard so many great things about there. We also have friends who are having their ceremony and doing a brunch at the Walper as well to cut costs.
