Unified Theme:
Choosing a unified theme helps the overall look of your wedding décor flow. It also makes your space seem professionally finshed. Keeping your theme in mind when selecting your wedding décor design is essential. The theme might be something simple: a shape, a style such as Hollywood Regency or an item such as butterflies or diamonds.

Colour Scheme- Don't be shy!
Select two ore three colour pairings for your wedding scheme and consistently use them throughout your venue. Start with a neutral, such as white, cream, or beige, add a metallic, including silver, gold or bronze, and finish with your accent colour such as red, purple, aquamarine, yellow or orange. Or use traditional stables like black, grey or navy as your accent colour.

Sweating The Details:
You don’t want to make your wedding décor look too overdone, but if you adhere to a theme and a colour style you can be extravagant and have fun with it. Choose quality wedding décor decorations and arrange really beautiful pieces as focal points throughout your reception or ceremony; add lots of floral, ribbon, feathers, reflective sufaces, meaniful family jewellery and other décor accents to complement those special pieces.

Mix Textures And Layer:
Combine different materials and textures to add contrast and interest. Use shimmering ribbon, rich velevets, shiny crystal, bold fabric patterns and metallic accents. Don’t be afraid to step outside the norm. A wedding filled with vintage details, whether from the 1950s, ’60s, or even ’70s, can make for a back-in-the-day vibe, and the decor options are limitless.

Use What You Have- Get Creative:
Wedding decorating does’nt mean replacing everything in your venue. Incorporate wedding decor elements that compliment your space. Bring in objects from home that you love and work them into your overall decor.

Add warmth:
Use lots of candles. Nothing makes a room feel warmer and more inviting than candlelight. If open flames are not permited, consider quality battery-operated candles that resemble the real thing.

Designer Linen:
Select beautiful linens in rich fabrics and delicious patterns. This makes your event even more special. The use of runners and overlays can dress up an otherwise drab banquet table cloth. Let's not forget the chairs. The choices are endless with options such as chair caps, chair capes, chair ties, accent brooches, bands and more.

Grand Exits
We’re not saying you should blow the budget on fireworks, but having a formal ceremony or reception exit is not only fun for you and your guests, it’ll make for great photos.

Creative Photo Displays
Rethink interrupting dinner to present a slideshow of through-the-years photos. Instead, set up a digital photo frame on a table in the cocktail hour space, or display your engagement photos on a rotating card display.

Family Tree Motifs
Give a nod to the family and show off your new union by adding a family tree display to your wedding day. Feature it on the ceremony programs, make it the guest book cover, or display a large version on an easel next to the escort card table.

En joy Yourself;
Before you know it, the season will fly by. All the planning and decorating will be done and you’ll wonder if the stress was worth it. Remind yourself that weddings are meant to be fun. So remember to take delight in every minute.
Share with the community some of your flare for style and tell us how you plan to make your special day memorable.
