TOPIC: Ceremony site only?

Ceremony site only? 1 Year, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
I am newly engaged and looking for a ceremony site.
My Fiance and I are planning a small wedding (20 people including us) and are looking
for a place to hold just a ceremony. We're looking in the KW or London area and would like something outdoors that doesn't cost too much (under $300 - or free, would be great).
If you have any suggestions, please pass them along! Thanks!

Hi Hillary,

The Wedding Ring has some reviews on ceremony locations in both K-W and London - just select ceremony locations in either Kitchener-Waterloo or London from the drop down menus above and click research. Or search for outdoor weddings in either city, too.

Both areas have lots of gorgeous parks that are likely free or incur a small fee (i.e. Waterloo Park is $90 for up to 2 hours in the Victorian Garden).

The Pavilion at Bingemans is also a nice outdoor option for K-W.

As well, Golf & Country Clubs in both K-W and London usually have options for outdoor ceremonies.

Dowding Water Gardens in London is a gorgeous outdoor option for ceremonies, surrounded by ponds and gardens galore. Also, Fanshawe Pioneer Village in London has some unique, historic outdoor options.

Also be sure to check out Elsie Perrin Williams Estate and Grosvenor Lodge in London. But don't forget to do a seach with the drop down menus above because I'm sure I'm missing some and it could be exactly what you're looking for.

Hope this helps.
Happy planning!

Carla mentioned The Victorian Garden and Waterloo Park but if you want something indoors, I held my ceremony in Waterloo Park in the Abraham Erb Grist Mill. It holds 75 people, it's not too big so it definitely wouldn't feel empty with 20 people. And it was also only $90 for 2 hours! Turned out I was the only one who booked it during that whole weekend so we ended up being able to get in the night before to decorate as well.
